     Theme of the Day - Students are given a "Theme of the Day" every morning.
     Themes are displayed in the school hallways.

Writing Portfolios

     The portfolios have been incorporated in all kindergarten, first, and second grade classes.
     Each child's portfolio consists of his/her original work.  By using this method, a child's true
     and creative work is made available to be viewed by parents.  Because this is a cumulative
     project, the portfolio will continue to develop through the child's elementary years.
